WHAT TO EXPECT

Answers to common questions
What should I wear? There is not a "dress code" at MBC for our members or guests to attend. Our ministry leaders and many of our church members wear a more traditional “Sunday-Best” style of dress, but you will find a range of attire and our goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable for your visit.
Are there programs for children or a nursery? Absolutely!
Nursery is available for ages birth through two years old at all services. Care is offered by loving volunteers for both Sunday services and Wednesday night.
Sunday, we have children's ministries for our 10 AM Sunday School and 11 AM Worship Service, which include: Nursery and Sunday School classes, Beginners Church, and Junior Church.
Wednesday nights September through May, we offer Truth Trackers program for ages three years old through 6th grade. For the summer months, we provide a stellar music program for children. Regardless of the time of year, there is something for the kids to connect with and learn more about God.
Where should I park? Parking is available around three sides of the building. We offer handicapped parking near the Main Entrance. Should you need assistance, see one of our ushers.
Am I required to fill anything out? We would ask you to voluntarily complete a Connection Card. This information is helpful to record your visit and collect your information should you decide to visit again and want to get involved or sign up for activities.
What do the services look like?
-
Our Sunday Morning Service includes choir and music specials and typically lasts for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. The Afternoon Service features a different message from the first and is usually a little shorter.
-
Our Wednesday night service is an hour long and includes a dedicated prayer time for the needs of our church family as well as recognizes God's goodness in answered prayer. During our services, our pastors carefully explain Scripture verse by verse to provide the clarity and encouragement we need for our sanctification.
What happens between services? Between services, we usually provide a lunch for those staying for the afternoon service. For guests visiting, we ask that you join us free of cost and for regular attenders, we ask a $3 donation per person to cover the cost for the meals. On the Sundays we are not able to provide a meal, we encourage you to bring your own lunch. If you'd like, you may utilize the kitchen to reheat leftovers or you may choose to visit a nearby restaurant. We call these Brown Bag Sundays.
