OUR MINISTRIES
NURSERY
Nursery is available each service for children ages birth through two years old. We have dedicated volunteer ladies that care tremendously for each and every child. They offer play time with clean and sterilized toys that will keep your child entertained through the entire service. We offer First Aid and CPR training to every Child Care Worker along with mandated certified background checks. We want parents to feel comfortable and secure with their children in the nursery so they can focus on the worship service.
JUNIOR CHURCH
Sunday morning, during the 11 AM worship service, all kids ages 1st through 6th grade have a special time of music, games, and a lesson prepared by Pastor Tim. This is a great time for our young kids to learn more about God's Word through applicable Bible lessons. Adult workers will aid in watching over the kids as well as helping the leader. Bathroom breaks, singing songs, and sitting with the kids are just a few areas you would be assisting in. If you would like to serve or have any questions regarding Junior Church, feel free to contact Pastor Tim.
SUNDAY SCHOOL | SMALL GROUP
We have a Sunday School Class for all age groups and all stages of life. These include Children, Teens, Foundations, Faith Builders, College and Career, and Prime Timers. These classes are a great way to learn about God and His Word through a small group Bible study atmosphere.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE | 7 PM
Pastor McMorris usually takes us verse by verse through a book of the Bible, a doctrine of faith, or a specific topic.
Though usually a bit more informal, ​you will leave with a better understanding of scripture and knowledge of God.
WEDNESDAY MEN'S PRAYER | 6:30 PM
This is a very important ministry here at Mio Baptist Church. We have a good group of men who come together to bring needs to the Lord on the behalf of others and to seek God's wisdom and direction. We encourage the men here at MBC to consider this time of meeting with the Lord; it may be an area God would want you to grow in!
WEDNESDAY NIGHT | 6:45-8 PM
Truth Trackers is a 30-week program that we offer during the school year for children ages three through 6th grade. It is designed to teach children a God-centered view of life as they learn doctrinal truth through scripture memory, daily devotions, and weekly lessons.
KIDZ CHOIR
During the summer months, children in 1st - 6th grade gather to learn about music. They learn how to read basic music and sing in a group. They learn multiple songs, and at the end of the summer, a service will be dedicated to the children, and they will have the opportunity to sing the various songs they have learned.
LADIES ONLY
Each winter Sharron begins a short devotional time on Facebook Live. Join her Tuesdays at 10 AM and you will find it an encouraging time!
BIBLE STUDY
Throughout the year at different times, we offer an evening Bible study for either men or women. This is a great opportunity to grow both in the Lord and in fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ!
